UN head steers clear of abortion debate- Allan Woods

This issue of abortion is very difficult and contentious at times. I completely understand both sides of the argument. However, I myself do support abortion rights and disagree with the position of the Canadian government. I believe that women should be in complete control of their reproductive organs.
Accessibility, to safe and affordable abortions is necessary to maternal health in the developing world.
Often these mothers are young and poor and cannot afford to take care of their infants. Should these be born they would live in poverty and most would not survive infancy.
Therefore, I believe that abortions should be funded by G20 countries to improve the health of the world.

Summit costs hit $1.1B

Canada's government went wrong somewhere with the cost of the summit. Since we've already hosted summits like this I don't think its ever been this expensive. I don't have much to say to this only that it seems ridiculous. Canada will have to pay off our debts for years to come. Maybe someone from our class will have to figure out how to pay for it. This has been said to be necessary, it isn't some of it is very wasteful.

I agree with both the NDP and liberals. I think that a coalition between the two parties would be healthy for our country and our democracy. I believe that the NDP and Liberals could work well on a lot of issues as long as decisions are made in a spirit of compromise. I think that their are many misconceptions about a coalition and the leaders would do well to answer them now rather than later.

I think that this article brings up good points. Our health care coasts are already sky rocketing, and with this generation they could bankrupt the nation. It is very important that we improve the health of our youth so we don't have to deal with the coasts later.

I surprisingly, agree with the Prime Minister. I think that people can live without recreational marijuana. The PM brings up a great point with the connection he made to cartels. Most illegal drugs drugs are smuggled into the nation through the border. Most come from South America where ruthless cartel leaders and fighters have ravaged the Continent with murder and extortion. Buying illegal narcotics just puts money into the pockets of these criminals so they can kill more people and cause more pain.
